Antonio, the heart and soul behind Anto, has always had a deep connection to the art of pizza-making. Growing up in the small town of Pignola, Italy, he would often watch in wonder as the local pizza maker transformed simple ingredients into something extraordinary. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion that eventually led Antonio to become a master pizzaiolo himself.

Antonio's journey to opening Anto in Singapore has been a remarkable one, filled with experiences that have shaped his craft. From his hometown in southern Italy to the northern regions, and even a stint in Saudi Arabia, he honed his skills before returning to Italy and finally making his way to Singapore.

But Antonio’s vision was never just about pizza.

It was about recreating the full Italian experience, from the warmth of a wood-fired oven to the vibrant atmosphere of an Italian bar at aperitivo hour.

Giancarlo Mancino, from Pignola in southern Italy, is a renowned bartender and founder of GiancarloBAR Ltd. in Hong Kong.

He has created iconic brands such as Mancino Vermouth, Rinomato Aperitivo, Sprezza RTD, Bocktailed, and Sei Bellissimi.

His commitment to excellence is reflected in collaborations with ITALESSE, UrbanBar, and House of Negroni.
